Korum Zelos Distance Shallow spare spool

KORUM Zelos Distance Shallow Spare Spool

Unlock the full tactical potential of your KORUM Zelos Distance reel with the genuine Zelos Distance Shallow Spare Spool. This essential accessory is meticulously engineered for the discerning specimen angler who demands versatility, efficiency, and the ability to adapt instantly to changing conditions on the bank. Owning a spare spool transforms your single powerhouse reel into a multi-faceted fishing system, ready for any challenge you face.

The primary advantage of the Zelos Distance Shallow Spool lies in its specialized design, perfectly optimized for modern fishing techniques. The shallow profile is purpose-built for use with braided mainlines or finer diameter monofilaments. This ensures impeccable, even line lay directly onto the spool without the need for large amounts of backing line. The result is a more balanced and lighter setup, reduced friction during the cast for increased distance, and superior bite detection, especially when using non-stretch braid for long-range feeder work.

Imagine arriving at your peg and being able to switch from a heavy-duty monofilament setup for powerful river currents to a fine braid for delicate, long-range stillwater tactics in a matter of seconds. This spare spool makes that a reality. It eliminates the time-consuming process of re-spooling line, allowing you to react swiftly to fish behaviour or a change in your chosen fishing spot.

Precision is at the heart of successful feeder fishing, and this spool delivers. It is equipped with two line-friendly casting clips, a signature feature of the Zelos Distance range. These clips allow you to fish two different ranges with absolute, repeatable accuracy. You can confidently build your swim at one distance while having a second, exploratory spot clipped up and ready to go. The clips are designed to be kind to your line, minimising damage and ensuring you can fish with complete confidence cast after cast.

This spare spool is the perfect partner for the KORUM Zelos Distance reel, designed to complement its powerful 4.7:1 gear ratio and smooth worm shaft oscillation system. While the reel itself provides the winding power and strength for taming large specimen fish like barbel, carp, and tench, this shallow spool is the key to optimising your casting performance and line management. Its precise construction works in harmony with the reel´s floating line rotor guard and anti-twist line roller to ensure flawless performance, whether you are casting heavy method feeders or fishing a subtle bomb at range. With a generous line capacity of 0.26mm/200m, it offers the ideal balance for long-distance work without being cumbersome.

Enhance your angling efficiency and be prepared for any eventuality with the KORUM Zelos Distance Shallow Spare Spool – the definitive upgrade for the serious distance feeder angler.
