Lofrans windlass accessories are manufactured with the highest quality for reliability and safety, conforming to EC regulations covering electromagentic compatibility (89/336/CEE). Tested by official organizations for compliance to the regulations and CE marked.

For proper functioning of the windlass you need to install:

The control box unit which is supplied as standard, made by two coils included in watertight box rated IP56. To connect the remote controls to control box it is enough to use the fastons on the control box unit

The curcuit breaker which has 3 functions:

Protection from short circuit
Protection of the electric motor from overload
Voltage interruption when you want to switch off the anchor windlass
The circuit breaker is installed on a panel and it has a led in order to show the voltage
One or more electric controls which can be connected in parallel

Resistant to chocks and marine corrosion

Compatible with Lofrans Marlin Windlass

Hi I have a Lofrans Marlin Windlass and it only clicks when operating, occasionally it will move in one direction a bit. Is this compatible with this windlass and do you think that is the issue? Thanks,

Hi, We bought this control box for our Lofrans Project 1000 / X2 Electric Windlass. It works perfectly without movement. I don´t know your Marlin windlass but I assume Lofrans uses the same control box for their windlasses.
