Loon Outdoors Payette Paste

Loon Outdoors Payette Paste | Premium All-Purpose Fly Fishing Floatant

Elevate your fly fishing experience with the Loon Outdoors Payette Paste, the ultimate all-in-one floatant engineered for the discerning angler. Designed to solve one of the most common frustrations on the water—sinking lines, leaders, and flies—this premium paste ensures your entire setup stays buoyant for a perfect, drag-free presentation. Whether you´re casting delicate dry flies on a spring creek or throwing large terrestrials on a windy day, Payette Paste is the essential tool you need to keep your gear riding high and dry.

The versatility of Payette Paste sets it apart from all other floatants. It is an excellent paste floatant designed not just for flies, but for your entire line, leader, and tippet system. By applying a thin, clear coating to your leader and tippet, you can ensure they float effortlessly on the surface film, preventing them from pulling your dry fly under and allowing for more natural drifts and stealthier approaches to wary fish. This simple application can be the difference between a refusal and a confident take.

Furthermore, Payette Paste serves as an indispensable field tool for line maintenance. It can be used as a temporary treatment for damaged or cracked floating lines, sealing out water and restoring buoyancy to get you through your day on the river without a costly interruption. This multi-use capability makes it a must-have item in every fly fisher´s vest or pack.

As a premier fly floatant, Payette Paste can be applied to large flies, giving wings and bodies a smooth, silky coating that repels water without matting down delicate materials. The clear paste rubs on easily and provides durable, long-lasting floatation, ensuring your fly looks natural and stays on top cast after cast. One of its most celebrated attributes is its remarkable temperature stability; it will keep its’ smooth, consistent texture regardless of the temperature. From frosty morning hatches to the heat of a summer afternoon, you can rely on Payette Paste to perform flawlessly without hardening or melting.
