Lowrance Recon SW72 Engine

Lowrance Recon SW72 Saltwater Trolling Motor: Dominate the Coast with Silent Precision

Elevate your saltwater angling with the Lowrance Recon SW72, a trolling motor engineered from the ground up to give you the ultimate advantage in the harshest marine environments. Designed for the serious coastal fisherman who demands reliability, stealth, and intelligent boat control, the Recon SW72 combines raw power with sophisticated technology. Move with unparalleled quietness, hold your position with pinpoint GPS accuracy, and fight the fish, not your boat. Its robust construction is purpose-built to withstand the corrosive effects of saltwater, ensuring season after season of dependable performance when you need it most.

The heart of the Recon SW72 is its revolutionary brushless motor. This advanced technology delivers significantly quieter operation than traditional brushed motors, allowing you to approach wary fish on the flats or in shallow bays without spooking them. Beyond its stealth, the brushless design is remarkably efficient, drawing less power from your batteries and enabling you to stay on the water longer. This efficiency doesn´t compromise on strength; the Recon provides powerful and responsive thrust to cut through strong tides, wind, and chop, giving you complete command of your vessel´s movement.

Built to conquer the coast, every component of the Recon SW72 is optimized for saltwater durability. The motor features a rugged, anodized aluminum mount and a composite shaft that is impervious to rust and corrosion. A dedicated sacrificial anode provides an additional layer of protection against galvanic corrosion, safeguarding the motor´s critical metallic components. The 72-inch shaft length is ideal for larger bay boats and center consoles with higher bows, ensuring the propeller remains submerged and effective even in rough seas.

Seamless integration with your existing Lowrance ecosystem transforms your boat into a fully connected fishing machine. Control the Recon SW72 directly from the touchscreen of your Lowrance HDS Live, HDS Carbon, or Elite FS multi-function display. Set routes, adjust speed, and engage the industry-leading GPS Anchor mode with a simple touch. This virtual anchor will hold your boat on a specific coordinate with incredible precision, allowing you to focus entirely on fishing a wreck, reef, or channel edge without constantly adjusting your position. Take advantage of advanced navigation features like Heading Lock, Course Lock, and Route Playback for effortless, automated control. The included wireless foot pedal and handheld remote offer flexible steering and control from anywhere on deck, providing the versatility you need for any fishing scenario.
