This ultralight reel is designed to be the perfect extension of your hand, allowing you to feel every nuance of your jig´s movement and every tentative bite from below the ice.

At the heart of the Arctic Micro FD lies a remarkably light and compact frame, making it the ideal partner for modern, sensitive ice fishing rods. Its featherlight construction, weighing a mere 162 grams, ensures perfect balance and eliminates fatigue during long, cold days on the ice. This allows you to maintain focus and concentration, detecting the most delicate strikes from perch, crappie, or trout. The reel´s design is focused on providing a seamless and intuitive fishing experience, where the gear feels like it disappears, leaving you with a direct connection to your lure and the fish.

A true game-changer for finesse tactics, the Arctic Micro FD is fitted with an exceptionally precise front drag system. This advanced, multi-disc drag is engineered to perform flawlessly, engaging smoothly without any initial stickiness. It empowers you to confidently use the thinnest, most delicate ice fishing lines without the constant worry that they will snap under the sudden pressure of a powerful run. Whether you are targeting wary panfish with micro-braids or battling a surprise trophy on light monofilament, this drag system provides the unwavering control and confidence needed to land every fish that bites.

Performance in extreme cold is non-negotiable, and the MIKADO Arctic Micro FD is built to excel in the most challenging winter environments. It is specifically designed to withstand sub-zero temperatures with ease. The internal mechanisms are lubricated and constructed to resist freezing and sluggishness, ensuring that the reel operates with the same fluid smoothness on the coldest day of the year as it does in milder conditions. The 3+1 bearing system guarantees a silky retrieve and, thanks to the instant anti-reverse bearing, delivers immediate and solid hooksets the moment you feel a strike. The 5.2:1 gear ratio offers a perfect balance between speed for a quick retrieve and the torque needed to manage a spirited fight, making it a versatile performer for various jigging techniques.

Elevate your ice fishing game with a reel that understands the demands of finesse angling. The MIKADO Arctic Micro FD is more than just a piece of equipment; it is a precision instrument designed for the art of ice jigging, providing the reliability and refined performance you need to master the ice.
