Mikado Jaws Screw jig head

MIKADO Jaws Screw Jig Head (10g) - The Ultimate System for Soft Lure Anglers

Revolutionize your soft lure presentation with the MIKADO Jaws Screw Jig Head. Expertly designed for the modern predator angler, this innovative jig head system solves the common frustrations of torn baits and unnatural movements. If you´re tired of soft plastics slipping down the hook after an aggressive cast or a missed strike, the Jaws Screw Jig Head is the definitive answer, ensuring your lure stays perfectly positioned for maximum attraction and effectiveness, cast after cast.

The core of this exceptional system is its ingenious design. This is a specialized jig head without a pre-fitted hook, giving you complete control and customization over your rig. At its heart is a robust, wide-gapped screw-in spring. This feature allows you to effortlessly twist your chosen soft plastic lure directly onto the head, locking it in place with a tenacious grip, just like its namesake. This secure connection is critical, especially when employing dynamic animation techniques. Whether you are using sharp, erratic jerks, fast retrieves, or aggressively bouncing the lure along the bottom, the Jaws system ensures your bait remains firmly attached, maintaining a natural and enticing profile that wary predators can´t resist.

One of the most significant benefits of this screw-in design is the dramatic increase in the lifespan of your soft lures. By eliminating the need to repeatedly thread a large hook shank through the delicate body of the plastic, you prevent the tearing and damage that renders lures useless. This means you save money and spend more time fishing and less time re-rigging.

Enhancing its versatility, the MIKADO Jaws Jig Head is thoughtfully equipped with a sturdy, perfectly positioned lower loop. This loop is specifically designed for the easy and secure attachment of a stinger hook rig. This is an essential feature for targeting species known for short-striking, such as zander and large perch. By adding a treble or single stinger hook, you can significantly improve your hook-up ratio, converting those subtle taps and follows into successfully landed fish. This level of adaptability makes the Jaws head a superior choice for a wide range of predator fishing scenarios.

The 10-gram weight offers exceptional versatility, making it ideal for fishing in moderate depths in lakes, reservoirs, and rivers with a gentle current. It provides an excellent balance, allowing for long, accurate casts while maintaining a controlled and sensitive descent, enabling you to feel every contour of the bottom and detect the most subtle of bites. Pair it with your favorite shads, grubs, or creature baits to unlock their full swimming potential and present a truly lifelike offering that triggers explosive strikes.
