Whether you are meticulously placing a method feeder for bream and tench or engaging in a strategic battle with medium-sized carp, the MFT Runner is built to elevate your performance and enhance your experience on the bank. This reel is not just a tool; it´s a trusted partner for every cast, every bite, and every fight.

As described by MIKADO, this is a "Compact reel with a free-spool system, designed for feeder angling. Light construction with a precise drag and a strong gear perfectly fits into standard of angling with feeders and medium carp weights." This core philosophy is evident in every aspect of the MFT Runner´s design, offering a seamless transition between different angling styles without compromise.

Experience Total Control with the Precision Free-Spool System

The standout feature of the MFT Runner is its highly responsive and reliable free-spool system. This essential mechanism allows a fish to pick up your bait and run with minimal resistance, ensuring a more confident take and preventing rod-wrenching bites from spooking wary fish. With a simple turn of the handle, the system instantly disengages, engaging the main front drag for you to set the hook and take full control of the fight. This dual-drag functionality provides the ultimate tactical advantage, crucial for both patient feeder fishing and opportunistic carp angling.

Power and Smoothness Where It Counts

At the heart of the MFT Runner lies a robust and powerful main gear, engineered to withstand the repetitive strain of casting heavy feeders and the immense pressure exerted by hard-fighting fish. This durable gearing ensures long-lasting performance and a consistently smooth retrieve, season after season. Paired with a multi-disc front drag system, the reel offers incredibly precise and smooth line release. This allows you to play fish with confidence, protecting your hooklink from sudden lunges and giving you the stopping power needed to guide carp away from snags.

Designed for Comfort and Balance

Long sessions on the bank demand comfortable and well-balanced equipment. The MIKADO MFT Runner features a lightweight yet durable construction that significantly reduces angler fatigue. It pairs beautifully with modern feeder and carp rods, creating a balanced setup that feels responsive and easy to handle all day long. The computer-balanced rotor eliminates wobble during the retrieve, contributing to the reel´s overall smooth feel, while the ergonomic handle provides a secure and comfortable grip in all weather conditions.
