Mikado Rubber Basic keepnet

MIKADO Rubber Basic Keepnet | 100cm Durable & Odour-Resistant Keeping Net

Discover the essential piece of fishing equipment for the modern, responsible angler: the MIKADO Rubber Basic Keepnet. As one of our most popular, affordable keepnets, this model has been designed to meet the demands of both frequent and casual fishers. The innovative rubber coating is a game-changer, making the net significantly more durable and impressively odour-resistant compared to traditional designs. With new legislation and a growing focus on fish welfare connected to amateur fish angling, a high-quality keepnet has become a true necessity for any angler committed to best practices in the sport.

The MIKADO Rubber Basic Keepnet is engineered to provide superior performance and convenience, allowing you to focus on the thrill of fishing. Its primary advantage lies in the specialized, quick-drying rubberized mesh. This advanced material not only withstands the rigours of frequent use but also prevents the absorption of water and fish slime. The result is a dramatic reduction in lingering odours, making transport and storage in your vehicle and home a much cleaner and more pleasant experience. Say goodbye to persistent damp smells and hello to hassle-free pack-up at the end of your session.

Key Benefits:

* Enhanced Durability: The rubber coating acts as a protective shield for the underlying mesh, safeguarding it from snags on rocks, reeds, and other underwater obstacles, thereby extending the life of your equipment.
* Superior Odour Resistance: Unlike conventional nets that absorb and retain moisture and slime, the non-porous rubber surface of this keepnet ensures it can be quickly rinsed and dried, virtually eliminating unpleasant smells.
* Optimal Fish Welfare: The smooth, soft rubberized mesh is exceptionally kind to fish. It minimizes the risk of scale damage and loss of protective slime, ensuring that any fish retained are kept in the best possible condition before being released or recorded.
* Effortless Maintenance: Cleaning is as simple as a quick rinse. The hydrophobic nature of the rubber coating means it sheds water and debris easily, drying rapidly and preventing the growth of mould or mildew.

This model is a testament to MIKADO´s commitment to creating functional and reliable fishing equipment. The strong, evenly spaced rings ensure the keepnet maintains its full circular shape when submerged, providing ample space and promoting healthy water flow for the fish inside. The robust construction guarantees it will hold its form, even in a current. It is the perfect choice for anglers participating in matches or for those who simply need a reliable way to safely retain their catch throughout a fishing session.

Main Features:
