MIKADO S21-4040-200 Rubber Coated Keepnet (200cm)

Discover the ultimate solution for fish care and convenience with the MIKADO S21-4040-200, a premier choice in the world of high-performance keeping nets. Designed for the discerning angler who values quality, durability, and the well-being of their catch, this keepnet elevates your fishing experience. It is an essential piece of fishing equipment for competitive match anglers and pleasure fishermen alike, offering a perfect blend of functionality and advanced design.

This is a very high quality keep net with a handle, fitted with a revolutionary rubber coated mesh. This special coating is a significant upgrade over traditional nets, offering a host of benefits that you will appreciate on every trip. The primary advantage is the ease of maintenance; due to that little upgrade, the cleaning and drying of the net is much easier and faster. The rubberized surface prevents the absorption of water and slime, meaning a quick rinse is often all that is needed. This drastically reduces drying time, allowing you to pack away your gear sooner and preventing the build-up of unpleasant odors in your car or storage.

Beyond simple convenience, the rubber coated mesh is exceptionally kind to the fish. The smooth surface minimizes the risk of removing the fish´s protective slime coat or damaging scales and fins, ensuring they can be returned to the water in prime condition. Furthermore, the robust coating significantly improves the net´s durability. It protects the underlying fibres from abrasion against rocks and snags, and it is far more resistant to hook points getting caught, preventing frustrating tangles and potential damage. Besides that, it improves its durability for long-term, reliable use season after season.

Engineered for performance, the MIKADO S21-4040-200 features a generous 200cm length, providing ample space for your catch, even during prolific sessions. The 40cm diameter rings ensure the net maintains its shape and volume in the water, giving fish plenty of room to move freely without stress. The structure is supported by strong, weighted rings that help the net sink correctly and stay securely on the lake or river bed, even in a current.

The top of the net features a universal thread attachment, making it compatible with any standard bankstick or keepnet bar. An integrated handle makes transporting the net from your peg to the weigh-in station simple and secure, a small but invaluable feature during the pressure of a match. For any angler serious about their sport and the welfare of the fish, this is one of the finest keeping nets available.
