Mikado Spark soft lure 85 mm

MIKADO Spark Soft Lure 85 mm: The Ultimate Predator Magnet

Discover the game-changing performance of the MIKADO Spark, a soft lure meticulously engineered to trigger aggressive strikes from even the most cautious predators. Designed for anglers who demand precision and versatility, the Spark 85 mm is a masterclass in lure innovation, combining a unique body profile with an irresistibly active tail to create a presentation that fish simply cannot ignore. Whether you are targeting perch, zander, or pike, the Spark is destined to become your go-to bait for a wide range of conditions.

At the heart of the Spark´s design is a brilliant fusion of two key features. As MIKADO´s designers state, "Spark is a really effective soft lure with increased body surface and thin connection of the tail. Due to the merge of those two features we managed to get a lure that has a slow sinking action with a tail working in any conditions." This core philosophy is what sets the Spark apart.

Unmatched Action and Attraction

The lure´s effectiveness begins with its oversized, ribbed body. This increased surface area serves a dual purpose: it displaces significantly more water than standard soft baits, creating a powerful hydrodynamic signature and subtle vibrations that fish can detect from a distance with their lateral line. This makes the Spark exceptionally effective in murky water or low-light conditions.

This body is connected to a dynamic paddle tail via an extremely thin, flexible joint. This innovative design allows the tail to kick into a frantic, pulsating action with the slightest movement. It works flawlessly at any retrieve speed—from a super-slow crawl along the bottom to a fast, burning retrieve. Crucially, the tail continues to work its magic during the fall, fluttering and vibrating as the lure sinks. This slow, tantalizing sinking action perfectly mimics a wounded or dying baitfish, triggering instinctive predatory attacks on the drop before you even begin your retrieve.

Versatility for Every Angler

The 85 mm Spark sits perfectly within the versatile 71-100 mm size range, making it an ideal offering for a vast array of freshwater predators. It’s a proven magnet for trophy perch, a deadly choice for finicky zander, and an enticing snack for opportunistic pike. Its versatility extends to rigging options; it performs flawlessly on a classic jig head for cast-and-retrieve or vertical jigging, excels on a drop shot rig for a subtle presentation, and can be rigged weedless on an offset hook for navigating through vegetation and heavy cover. No matter your preferred technique or the environment you´re fishing in, the MIKADO Spark adapts to deliver results. Add this exceptional lure to your arsenal and experience the difference that superior design and unparalleled action can make.
