Mikado Stream spoon 8g

MIKADO Stream Spoon 8g - Precision Lure for River and Deep Water Angling

Unlock the full potential of your angling experience with the MIKADO Stream Spoon, an 8-gram masterpiece engineered for precision, versatility, and irresistible action. Designed for anglers who demand performance in challenging conditions, the Stream is your go-to lure for targeting wary predators in both flowing rivers and deep, still waters. Its exceptional design and performance characteristics make it an essential addition to any serious angler´s tackle box within the ´1-10 gr´ lure category.

The MIKADO Stream is a distinctively long and slender spoon, a feature that sets it apart from conventional lures. When retrieved through the water, its elongated profile perfectly mimics the silhouette and movement of small, slender baitfish and aquatic insects, which are the primary forage for many prized game fish. This hyper-realistic presentation triggers an instinctive predatory response from species like trout, perch, chub, and asp, turning tentative follows into aggressive strikes.

One of the Stream´s standout features is its uniquely engineered shape. The blade´s hydrodynamics are optimized to cut through the water column, making it significantly easier to work the lure close to the bottom of deep reservoirs and lakes. While other spoons may rise too quickly on the retrieve, the 8g Stream maintains its depth, allowing you to effectively probe the strike zones where larger, more cautious fish often hold. This deep-diving capability ensures you can present your offering exactly where it needs to be, maximizing your chances of success.

In river environments, the MIKADO Stream spoon truly excels. For best results and the most dynamic action, anglers will find great success by leading the lure against the current. This technique allows the spoon to flutter and wobble with an intense, erratic action that imitates a struggling baitfish fighting the flow—a sight that predators simply cannot resist. Its weight and shape provide excellent stability in moving water, preventing it from being swept away too quickly and keeping it in the productive zone for longer. The 8g weight also provides excellent casting distance and accuracy, allowing you to reach distant lies and cover more water with every cast.
