MIKADO Under Ice DK Jigging Rod: Unmatched Sensitivity for Ice Fishing

Discover the ultimate tool for precision ice fishing with the MIKADO Under Ice DK Jigging Rod. Engineered for the discerning angler who demands sensitivity and control, this rod is your key to unlocking the secrets beneath the ice. When winter bites are light and fish are finicky, the Under Ice DK provides the feedback and performance you need to turn a slow day into a successful one. Its specialized design is perfect for targeting species like perch, crappie, and trout, making it an indispensable part of your ice fishing arsenal.

The MIKADO Under Ice DK is a delicate rod made of glass fibre, with 50 cm of length. This compact size is expertly chosen for maneuverability, making it the perfect choice for fishing within the close confines of an ice shelter or for anglers who prefer a minimalist, highly mobile approach on the open ice. This rod is incredibly versatile, with a soft tip, made for float angling as well. The exceptional sensitivity of the tip section allows you to visually detect the most subtle nibbles and uplifts, ensuring you can set the hook at the perfect moment. This responsiveness is crucial for successful jigging, as it transmits every movement of your lure directly to your hand, allowing you to impart the most lifelike action to attract wary fish.

Comfort during long, cold hours on the ice is not a luxury; it is a necessity for maintaining focus and feeling those faint takes. The MIKADO Under Ice DK addresses this with a thoughtfully designed cork handle. This premium cork handle with graphite rings does not cool your palms down, providing essential thermal insulation against the biting winter air. This allows you to fish comfortably, even without bulky gloves, maintaining a direct, sensitive connection to the rod. The lightweight graphite rings further enhance the rod´s balance and sensitivity without adding unnecessary weight. As a single-piece rod, it offers a seamless transfer of energy and vibration from the tip to your hand, creating an experience of pure, uninterrupted feedback from the underwater world.
