Moeller Tank Mounting Strips

MOELLER Tank Mounting Strips

Ensure the ultimate safety, stability, and longevity of your marine fuel system with MOELLER Tank Mounting Strips. Expertly engineered for the harsh marine environment, these essential accessories provide a professional-grade solution for securing your boat´s fuel tank, offering unparalleled protection for both your tank and your vessel´s hull. Designed primarily as below deck tank mounting strips, their versatile nature also makes them perfectly suitable for topside tank installations.

Secure Your Investment, Protect Your Vessel

The core function of these high-quality mounting strips is to create a secure, cushioned barrier. The self-adhesive mounting strips cushion between the tank and the hull and provide room for circulation, which is critical for preventing damage and maintaining the integrity of your fuel system. By absorbing shocks and dampening vibrations from rough water, engine operation, and transport, these strips prevent the tank from chafing against the hull, which can lead to wear, abrasion, and potentially dangerous leaks over time.

Furthermore, the space created by the strips promotes essential airflow. This air gap helps prevent moisture from becoming trapped between the tank and the hull, significantly reducing the risk of corrosion, mildew, and rot on surrounding support structures. This simple installation provides peace of mind and protects the long-term value of your boat.

Versatile and Durable by Design

While ideal for permanent below-deck installations, the utility of MOELLER Tank Mounting Strips extends to other applications. They can be used for topside tanks as well, providing the same level of cushioning and protection. Their robust construction makes them a multi-purpose problem solver on any vessel. For added security, these strips are an excellent complement to mechanical fasteners. They can also be used for padding with hold down Straps, providing an extra layer of non-slip cushioning that ensures your tank remains firmly in place, even in the most challenging sea conditions.
