MUSTAD Rip Roller Jig 500g - Deep Water Slow Fall Jig

Master the deep and conquer challenging currents with the MUSTAD Rip Roller Jig 500g. This expertly designed slow fall jig is the ultimate weapon for serious anglers looking to target trophy fish lurking in the depths or holding in heavy flow. Engineered for performance and built to provoke aggressive strikes, the Rip Roller is a must-have addition to any serious saltwater jigging arsenal.

The new Rip Roller Slow Fall Jig is built with a slim, streamlined profile for a quick descent on a tight line. Its centered weight gives it a stable, but rapid rolling action on a slack line. Two contrasting colors on each side create a blinking flash that triggers strikes. Perfect for deep fish or heavy current! This meticulous design ensures you spend less time waiting and more time in the productive strike zone, a critical advantage when every drop counts.

Once it reaches your target depth, the Rip Roller´s genius truly shines. The perfectly centered weight distribution allows the jig to perform an erratic, high-speed roll and flutter on the fall. This action flawlessly imitates a wounded, fleeing baitfish—an irresistible meal for predatory species. The dual-sided, contrasting color patterns create a mesmerizing strobe or blinking effect as the jig tumbles through the water column. This visual disturbance calls fish in from afar and is a proven trigger for reaction strikes, turning tentative followers into committed biters.

Whether you are vertical jigging for deep-water grouper and snapper, or employing a slow-pitch technique for powerful pelagics like tuna and amberjack, the Rip Roller´s versatile action adapts to your style. Its substantial 500-gram weight makes it the ideal choice for punching through strong thermoclines and reaching fish that lighter jigs simply cannot.
