NUOVA RADE Telescopic Boathook for Anchoring and Mooring

Enhance your safety, control, and efficiency during docking and mooring operations with the NUOVA RADE Telescopic Boathook. An indispensable tool for any vessel, this boathook is meticulously designed to provide reliability and versatility when you need it most. Whether you are retrieving mooring lines, fending off a dock, or recovering an item from the water, this boathook is engineered to perform flawlessly in the demanding marine environment. Its thoughtful construction and superior materials make it a trusted companion for sailors and powerboat owners alike, simplifying complex manoeuvres and increasing safety on board.

Engineered for Durability and Performance

This boathook is ideal for multiple uses on board, featuring a high-quality floating anodised aluminium shaft with a rubber palm grip, a comfortable rubber handle, and a hook made of resilient plastic to expand its lifespan. The anodised aluminium construction provides an exceptional strength-to-weight ratio, making the boathook easy to handle while ensuring it stands up to the corrosive effects of saltwater and UV exposure. A critical design feature is its natural buoyancy, which prevents the tool from sinking if accidentally dropped overboard, saving you from a frustrating loss. The ergonomic rubber grips guarantee a secure, non-slip hold, even with wet hands or when wearing gloves, giving you precise control for pushing or pulling.

It also includes a soft PVC hook cover in a bright orange colour. This protective cover not only prevents scratches and scuffs on your boat´s gelcoat and other sensitive surfaces but also increases the visibility of the hook end for added safety.

Adjustable Reach with Secure Locking

It has a telescopic mechanism which allows it to expand at the desired length, with a quarter turn locking action. This intuitive system enables you to quickly adjust the boathook´s reach, making it perfect for a wide range of tasks, from grabbing a distant mooring buoy to pushing off a quay wall. The secure locking mechanism engages with a simple twist, holding the shaft firmly in place without any risk of collapsing under load, providing you with the confidence to handle tasks with force and precision.
