OKUMA Squider Egging Rod

Ready to conquer the depths and master the art of squid jigging? The OKUMA Squider Egging Rod is your perfect partner for thrilling cephalopod adventures, specifically engineered to enhance your eging experience from the boat. This rod is the definitive choice for anglers seeking exceptional functionality and reliability without a prohibitive price tag.

Delivering accessible performance to egi anglers, the Squider is a versatile option for targeting squid from the boat. The Squider features a fiber glass blank and a solid tip for sensitive bite detection and powerful hooksets. Finished with flashy cosmetics and a rubber gimbal butt cap for extra stability. This core design philosophy ensures that every angler, from novice to seasoned pro, can feel the subtle dance of the egi jig and the tentative grab of a squid.

The secret to successful eging is detecting the slightest, most subtle takes, which often feel like a momentary change in weight rather than an aggressive bite. The Squider´s specially designed solid tip is engineered for supreme sensitivity, visually transmitting these delicate interactions down the rod. You will be able to see the tip load up just before you feel the take, giving you the critical split-second advantage needed to react and set the hook effectively.

Built on a robust and forgiving fiber glass blank, the Squider offers the perfect blend of power and durability. This construction allows you to confidently work your egi jigs with the correct darting action that entices squid to strike. When you hook up, the blank has the backbone to handle powerful lunges and ensure the barbs of your jig stay firmly in place, minimizing the chances of a heartbreaking loss next to the boat. The forgiving nature of the blank also helps to absorb shock, protecting your line and the soft bodies of the squid.

Designed for long, comfortable sessions on the water, the Squider boasts a thoughtful layout of saltwater-ready components. Comfortable and durable EVA grips provide a secure hold even in wet conditions, reducing fatigue and improving control. The addition of a rubber gimbal butt cap is a game-changer for boat anglers, allowing you to brace the rod against your body for extra leverage and stability when fighting larger squid or in choppy seas.

Elevate your squid fishing game with a tool built for purpose. The OKUMA Squider Egging Rod combines essential performance features with rugged construction, giving you the confidence to land more squid and cuttlefish on every trip. Add this specialized eging weapon to your arsenal and feel the difference on your next boat outing
