Plastimo Jacklines Retro Reflective Strap 7 m

PLASTIMO Jacklines Retro Reflective Strap 7 m: Uncompromising Safety on Deck

Navigate with confidence and ensure the highest level of safety on your vessel with the PLASTIMO Retro Reflective Jacklines. Designed for the discerning sailor who prioritizes security and practicality, these essential safety straps are a fundamental component of any boat´s safety equipment. Whether you´re undertaking a coastal cruise, an offshore passage, or simply need to move around the deck in challenging conditions, these jacklines provide a secure tethering point, dramatically reducing the risk of a man overboard incident.

The standout benefit of these jacklines is their exceptional nighttime visibility. A specially developed retro-reflective thread is woven directly into the polyester webbing, which brilliantly illuminates when hit by a light source, such as a headlamp or searchlight. This feature is critical for safety during night sails or in low-light conditions, making the straps easy to locate on a dark deck and significantly enhancing the visibility of a crew member in the unfortunate event they go overboard while tethered.

Engineered for performance and durability, the design of these straps focuses on minimizing on-deck hazards. The innovative ultra-flat profile is specifically engineered to lie flush against the deck, significantly reducing the risk of tripping or snagging on lines and equipment—a common hazard during active maneuvers. This low-profile design ensures secure footing and unimpeded movement from the cockpit to the foredeck. At a generous length of 7 meters, this single strap is perfectly suited for a wide range of sailing vessels, allowing for a continuous and secure pathway along the length of the deck.

Built from high-strength materials, these jacklines offer complete peace of mind. The robust polyester webbing boasts an impressive breaking strain, ensuring it can withstand the immense shock loads associated with a fall, providing a reliable anchor point for your safety tether. For added safety management, a dedicated label is included on the jackline, allowing you to mark the date of first use. This simple yet crucial feature helps you track the equipment´s service life, adhere to safety inspection schedules, and ensure your critical gear is always within its operational lifespan.
