Plastimo Neo Pro 165 Hammar Automatic Life Jacket

PLASTIMO Neo Pro 165 Hammar Automatic Life Jacket

Experience unparalleled safety and complete freedom of movement on the water with the PLASTIMO Neo Pro 165 Hammar Automatic Life Jacket. Designed for the serious mariner, offshore sailor, and demanding racer, this premium life vest from the Vests subcategory combines cutting-edge technology with exceptional ergonomic design, ensuring you are prepared for any condition without compromising on comfort or performance.

The cornerstone of this advanced life jacket is its sophisticated Hammar hydrostatic automatic inflation system. This intelligent activation technology is engineered for absolute reliability, distinguishing it from standard automatic inflators. Instead of activating on contact with water spray or heavy rain, the Hammar system triggers only when submerged under a few centimeters of water pressure. This critical feature prevents false triggers and accidental inflation during foul weather or when working on a wet deck, providing you with total peace of mind and ensuring the vest is ready to perform precisely when you need it most. It’s the ultimate choice for sailors who frequently face challenging sea states.

Engineered for all-day wearability, the Neo Pro 165 features a slim, lightweight, and highly flexible profile that conforms to your body. Its ergonomic cut provides unrestricted movement, allowing you to perform tasks on deck, trim sails, or helm with complete agility. The supple and durable outer shell is secured with a clean, modern zip closure, which not only protects the internal inflation chamber but also maintains the vest´s sleek shape. A dedicated inspection window on the exterior allows for quick and easy visual confirmation of the firing mechanism´s operational status, simplifying your routine safety checks.

Upon inflation, the life jacket provides a powerful 165 Newtons of buoyancy, an effective rating that offers excellent support for an adult, even when wearing heavy sailing gear. The uniquely shaped air chamber is designed to provide optimal self-righting performance, working to quickly turn an unconscious wearer onto their back and position their head and airways safely above the water.

Safety is further enhanced with a fully integrated safety harness, featuring a robust textile loop that serves as a secure and reliable attachment point for a safety line. This integration is essential for preventing man-overboard situations during offshore passages. The vest also includes a double crotch strap for a secure fit in the water, preventing the jacket from riding up over your head. For recovery and visibility, it is equipped with a durable lifting loop, SOLAS-approved retro-reflecting tapes, and a signal whistle.

Engineered for the discerning sailor who refuses to compromise, the PLASTIMO Neo Pro 165 Hammar is more than just safety equipment; it´s a vital piece of performance gear for your boats and equipment. Trust in Plastimo´s legacy of maritime safety and equip yourself with a life jacket designed to perform when it matters most. Navigate with confidence, knowing you are protected by one of the most advanced and reliable vests on the market
