PLASTIMO Pilot 180 Auto UML Elite Inflatable Life Jacket

Experience unparalleled safety and freedom on the water with the PLASTIMO Pilot 180 Auto UML Elite Inflatable Life Jacket. Engineered for the discerning sailor and demanding offshore conditions, this vest combines cutting-edge technology with exceptional comfort, allowing you to focus on your navigation with complete peace of mind. It is the ultimate safety companion for long-distance cruising, offshore racing, and any situation where performance cannot be compromised.

The standout feature of the Pilot 180 is its superior buoyancy. Rated at a powerful 180 Newtons, it provides significantly more lift than standard 150N life jackets. This increased buoyancy ensures faster self-righting, even when wearing heavy, multi-layered foul-weather gear, lifting your head and airways higher out of the water for enhanced safety in challenging seas.

At its core is the highly reliable UML Elite Pro Sensor automatic inflation system. This state-of-the-art mechanism activates instantaneously upon immersion in water, ensuring rapid and dependable inflation when you need it most. For total control, a manual pull-cord is also available. A crucial feature for any serious mariner is the clear status window, which allows for a quick and easy visual check of the firing mechanism´s operational status without needing to unpack the life jacket, ensuring you are always ready for departure.

Designed for all-day wear, the Pilot 180 prioritizes ergonomics and comfort. Its lightweight, flexible, and anatomically sculpted design allows for maximum freedom of movement, whether you´re trimming sails or at the helm. The outer shell is both supple and durable, while a soft, padded neckline prevents chafing and irritation during extended use. Unlike bulky, traditional vests, the Pilot 180 features a sleek, modern front zip closure, which provides a secure, streamlined fit that minimizes snagging hazards on deck.

Safety is further enhanced by a fully integrated, high-resistance safety harness, certified to the latest standards. This harness features a robust, yet lightweight, textile D-ring for securely attaching a safety line, keeping you connected to the vessel in rough conditions. Every Pilot 180 comes equipped with essential safety accessories, including a double crotch strap for a secure fit in the water, a signal whistle to attract attention, and SOLAS-approved reflective patches for increased visibility during search and rescue operations.

Choose the PLASTIMO Pilot 180 Auto UML Elite for a perfect synergy of advanced safety technology, superior performance, and ergonomic design. It’s more than just a piece of equipment; it’s your most trusted partner for every voyage, providing the confidence to push your boundaries and sail further
