PLASTIMO Shock Rope 50 m | 4 mm Marine-Grade Elastic Cord

Secure your valuable boating equipment with the ultimate in reliability and performance: the PLASTIMO Shock Rope. Expertly designed for the demanding marine environment, this 50-meter reel of high-performance elastic cord is the professional´s choice for securing boat covers, biminis, sprayhoods, and a multitude of other on-deck items. When you need a tie-down solution that offers both firm tension and essential flexibility, trust in the quality and durability that the PLASTIMO name represents.

Key Benefits for the Discerning Mariner:

This shock rope is engineered to provide unwavering performance season after season. Its primary benefit lies in its exceptional durability and resistance to the elements. The robust outer sheath is specifically designed to withstand prolonged exposure to harsh UV rays, preventing the degradation and brittleness that plagues inferior cords. Furthermore, it is impervious to the corrosive effects of saltwater, mildew, and abrasion, ensuring a long service life even in the toughest coastal or offshore conditions. The consistent and reliable elasticity of the inner core absorbs sudden shocks from wind gusts and waves, protecting the fabric of your cover and the boat´s fittings from damaging stress, tears, and strain. This controlled stretch keeps covers taut and silent, eliminating annoying and destructive flapping.

Versatility and Performance on Deck:

With a generous 50-meter length, this reel offers outstanding value and versatility. It allows you to create custom-length tie-downs for any application, ensuring a perfect fit for your specific needs. Use it to lace the perimeter of a winter cover, create quick-release tensioners for a bimini top, secure fenders to your rails, bundle loose gear, or organize lines and hoses in the cockpit. Its slim 4 mm diameter is strong yet discreet, fitting easily through small eyelets and cleats without compromising on strength. This is more than just a rope; it´s an essential piece of equipment for maintaining and protecting your vessel.
