This plug acts as a robust barrier, preventing leaks that could lead to water damage, system failure, or safety hazards. Its solid build provides peace of mind, ensuring that your capped-off lines and ports remain securely sealed season after season. By choosing a PLASTIMO part, you are investing in the longevity and reliability of your vessel’s critical infrastructure.

Precision Engineering for a Perfect Seal

This component features a precisely machined 3/8-inch female thread (corresponding to the former metric table size of 12-17), guaranteeing a tight and secure fit with corresponding male fittings. The clean, consistent threading allows for easy installation and removal without stripping or cross-threading, making it ideal for both permanent and temporary applications. Its function as a high-integrity stopper is paramount, whether you´re sealing off a drain, a seacock outlet, or an unused port on a water tank or engine system. The compact 15 mm height allows it to be used in tight spaces where clearance is a concern, without compromising its sealing capability.

This female locking nut is manufactured from high-quality CW 602N brass, a material renowned for its excellent resistance to dezincification and corrosion in marine settings. This ensures the plug maintains its structural integrity and sealing power over time, even when in constant contact with raw or fresh water.
