Poly Ropes PolyBraid 24 185 m rope

POLY ROPES PolyBraid 24 Sailing Rope - 6mm x 185m Coil

Elevate your sailing experience with the POLY ROPES PolyBraid 24, a premium, all-round line engineered for exceptional performance and reliability in any marine environment. Designed to meet the rigorous demands of both recreational and competitive sailors, this rope is the ultimate upgrade for your boat´s running rigging. Its superior construction and thoughtful design provide the perfect balance of strength, handling, and longevity, making it an indispensable asset on the water.

At its heart, the PolyBraid 24 features a robust, double braided construction. This advanced design consists of a high-tenacity, load-bearing polyester core protected by a tightly woven 24-strand outer cover. This combination results in a line that is not only incredibly strong but also maintains a perfectly round shape, allowing it to run smoothly and efficiently through blocks, jammers, and clutches with minimal friction. The 24-plait cover provides a significant advantage over standard 16-plait ropes, offering a smoother surface, enhanced abrasion resistance, and a remarkably soft and flexible feel in the hands. This ensures comfortable handling and excellent grip, even when wet, reducing fatigue during long tacks or intense maneuvers.

A key benefit of the PolyBraid 24 is that it is professionally pre-stretched during the manufacturing process. This critical step removes the initial constructional stretch, meaning the rope exhibits very low elongation under load. For the sailor, this translates directly to more precise and immediate control over sail trim. Your halyards will keep the luff tight for optimal sail shape, and your sheets will provide instant feedback, allowing for minute adjustments that can make all the difference in performance.
