POLY ROPES Soft Polyester Rope 220 m

Secure your vessel with confidence and experience superior handling with the POLY ROPES Soft Polyester Rope. Offered in a generous 220-meter coil, this versatile line is expertly designed for a wide range of marine applications, excelling as one of the most reliable and user-friendly dock and mooring ropes available on the market. Whether you´re tying up at the marina, setting a temporary anchor, or in need of a general-purpose utility line on board, this cordage delivers an exceptional combination of performance, feel, and value.

Key Benefits for the Modern Mariner

Experience a new level of comfort and efficiency with a rope that is engineered for boaters. The primary benefit of this line is its incredibly soft and smooth texture, which significantly reduces friction and strain on your hands during handling, coiling, and knot-tying. This silky feel minimizes the risk of chafing and splinters, making every docking and mooring procedure a more pleasant task.

Furthermore, this rope is designed to stay on the surface. Its inherent buoyancy is a critical safety and convenience feature, ensuring the line floats on water. This prevents it from getting tangled in your propeller or snagged on underwater obstacles and makes it incredibly easy to spot and retrieve from the water. Its non-absorbent nature means it won´t take on water, remaining lightweight, easy to handle, and quick to dry, which in turn helps prevent the onset of mildew and rot.

Engineered for Performance and Durability

This high-quality cordage features a classic and robust 3-stranded construction. This traditional design is not only time-tested for its strength and reliability but is also exceptionally easy to splice, allowing for customization and repairs.

The rope is crafted from Polysoft, a unique polypropylene-silk material blend that gives the rope its signature silky smooth and soft characteristics. While offering a feel comparable to premium polyester, Polysoft provides a distinct set of advantages. The line is maximum UV-stabilized, offering enhanced protection against degradation from the sun´s harsh rays, a crucial feature for any equipment used in a marine environment.

Polysoft represents a more economical alternative to pricier polyester-cordage, making it an excellent choice for boaters seeking high performance without a premium price tag. For full transparency, it is important to note that while it offers great value and a superior feel, Polysoft doesn’t tolerate the extreme abrasion, wear-and-tear, and prolonged, intense sunlight exposure as well as pure, high-tenacity polyester. It is perfectly suited for standard recreational docking, mooring, and general applications where extreme-duty performance is not the primary requirement.

Equip your boat with a line that is soft to the touch, highly visible, and always ready for action. Choose the POLY ROPES Soft Polyester Rope for a smart, dependable, and comfortable solution for all your mooring needs.
