PROSEA 8719 Lifebuoy Ring: SOLAS-Approved Safety for Maritime Operations

Ensure ultimate safety and full compliance on the water with the PROSEA 8719 Lifebuoy Ring, a professional-grade safety device designed for the most demanding marine environments. As a critical component of your vessel´s safety equipment, this lifebuoy is engineered to provide immediate, reliable assistance in any man-overboard emergency. Its official SOLAS homologation certifies that it meets the rigorous international standards for safety of life at sea, making it the definitive choice for commercial vessels, fishing fleets, passenger ferries, and recreational boaters who refuse to compromise on safety.

Uncompromising Visibility and Rescue Capability

In a rescue situation, every second counts, and visibility is paramount. The PROSEA 8719 is finished in a vibrant, high-visibility butane orange color, a shade specifically chosen for its ability to stand out against the vast, shifting blues and greys of the open water. This ensures it can be spotted quickly from a distance, even in challenging conditions like fog, heavy rain, or high waves. To further enhance its performance, the lifebuoy is fitted with high-intensity reflective bands. These bands brilliantly reflect light from searchlights, vessel lights, or even moonlight, making it a crucial beacon for nighttime or low-light rescue operations. The integrated garland rope encircling the buoy provides a secure and easy-to-grasp handhold for the person in the water, offering stability and support while they await rescue.

Engineered for Durability and Performance

The PROSEA 8719 Lifebuoy Ring is built to endure the harsh realities of the marine world. It is expertly manufactured from rigid molded polyethylene with a resilient expanded foam interior. This advanced construction method creates an incredibly tough outer shell that resists damage from impacts, UV radiation, and exposure to oil and chemicals, ensuring a long service life without degradation. The foam-filled core guarantees exceptional buoyancy, meaning the ring will maintain its life-saving properties even if the hard outer casing is punctured or compromised. The precisely engineered rims and dimensions offer a perfect balance of size and weight for effective deployment. Weighing in at 2.5 kg, it is substantial enough to be thrown accurately over a distance, even in windy conditions, yet light enough for rapid handling by any crew member.
