PROWESS Equa BTR Carpfishing Reel: Master the Fight with Unmatched Control

Elevate your carp fishing experience with the PROWESS Equa BTR, a dedicated carpfishing reel engineered for the angler who demands reliability, precision, and tactical advantage. Designed to meet the challenges of modern carp angling, the Equa BTR combines innovative features with robust performance, making it an indispensable tool for targeting wary, hard-fighting carp in any water. Whether you are a seasoned specialist or an ambitious enthusiast, this reel provides the confidence to turn every take into a successful capture.

The heart of the Equa BTR is its highly responsive and easy-to-use Bite & Run (BTR) system. This disengageable free-spool mechanism is a game-changer for ledgering and specimen hunting tactics. It allows you to set your rods with a precisely tensioned free-spool, enabling a running carp to take the bait and move off without feeling any resistance. This crucial feature prevents spooked fish and violent takes that could pull your rod into the water. With a simple turn of the handle, the system instantly engages the main front drag, putting you in direct control for a solid hook set and the ensuing battle.

Performance during the fight is paramount, and the Equa BTR excels with its powerful and progressive micrometric front drag system. This allows for incredibly fine adjustments, giving you the ability to perfectly manage the pressure on the line. During long, drawn-out fights, you can seamlessly adapt to the carp´s powerful lunges and sudden changes in direction, minimizing the risk of line breaks or hook pulls. The reel’s smooth operation is ensured by its quality bearing system, which provides a fluid retrieve and reduces internal wear, guaranteeing long-lasting performance season after season.

Casting precision and distance are also central to the Equa BTR´s design. It is equipped with a long cast profile spool that facilitates an effortless line flow, helping you reach distant features and feeding spots with accuracy. The excellent line lay ensures that your line is wound perfectly onto the spool with every turn, preventing tangles and maximising your casting potential on every attempt.

Built for functionality and endurance, the Equa BTR features an infinite anti-reverse that provides immediate and decisive hook sets with zero back play in the handle. The oversized line roller minimises line twist, a common issue when fighting powerful fish, preserving the integrity of your mainline. Furthermore, its ergonomic combat handle offers a secure and comfortable grip, even in wet conditions, ensuring you have the leverage needed to winch in the biggest of specimens. With its ambidextrous design, the handle can be easily switched from the left to the right side, catering to all anglers.

The PROWESS Equa BTR is more than just a fishing reel; it is a tactical instrument built to give you the upper hand. Its combination of a reliable free-spool system, a powerful drag, and smooth, long-range casting capabilities makes it the ultimate all-around reel for the dedicated carp angler. Take control of the situation and bring your angling to the next level
