RAM MOUNTS Round Base Double Ball Adapter

Category: Electronics
Subcategory: Accessories

Unlock unparalleled versatility and create the ultimate custom mounting solution with the RAM MOUNTS Round Base Double Ball Adapter. Engineered for those who demand more from their mounting systems, this innovative adapter serves as the cornerstone for dual-device setups or for creating unique, extended mounting arms. It provides a robust and highly adaptable link between a flat mounting surface and your essential electronics, ensuring they remain secure and perfectly positioned, no matter the environment.

The true genius of this adapter lies in its double ball design, which offers an extraordinary range of motion and articulation. This allows you to connect two separate RAM® B size socket arms, enabling you to mount two devices simultaneously, such as a GPS and a smartphone. Alternatively, connect two socket arms end-to-end to create a custom-length mounting arm, perfect for achieving the ideal reach and viewing angle in tight or complex spaces like vehicle cabs, boat consoles, or aircraft cockpits.

Built to withstand the most demanding conditions, this adapter embodies the legendary durability RAM MOUNTS is known for. The signature rubber ball design provides exceptional shock and vibration damping, a critical feature that protects your valuable electronics from the damaging effects of high-frequency vibrations common in motorcycles, heavy machinery, and marine vessels. This ensures the longevity and reliable performance of your devices. The round base provides a stable and secure foundation, featuring a universal drilling pattern for straightforward installation on any compatible flat surface.

The RAM-B-217U consists of two 1´´ diameter rubber balls connected to a post and 2.5´´ diameter round base.

The round base has pre-drilled holes, including the universal AMPs hole pattern and 3-hole 120 degree pattern.

The 1´´ balls measure center to center 2.5´´ apart.
