Rapala Countdown Sinking minnow 16g 110 mm

Rapala CountDown Sinking Minnow 110mm 16g | Precision Depth Control Lure

Unlock the secret to consistent catches at any depth with the legendary Rapala CountDown Sinking Minnow. This 110 mm, 16g lure is a masterpiece of angling engineering, designed for fishermen who demand absolute precision and control. For decades, the "CountDown" method has been the go-to technique for presenting a lure exactly where the fish are holding, and this iconic minnow is the tool that perfects that technique. Whether you are targeting wary predators in deep water or casting towards visible structures, the CountDown delivers unparalleled performance.

The Proven CountDown® Method

Sinking at a consistent rate of one foot per second, the CountDown allows you to easily target specific depths repeatedly. This controlled descent is the key to its effectiveness. After your cast, simply count as the lure sinks—"one, two, three..."—and begin your retrieve when you reach the desired number. This simple yet brilliant system removes the guesswork. Whether the fish are suspended mid-water, hovering just above the weed tops, or holding tight to the bottom structure, the CountDown can get you to them consistently on every cast.

This versatile lure excels in all conditions. Trolled or cast, this weighted balsa lure swims with a slow-rolling Rapala action that predators find irresistible. The distinctive wobble and roll mimic a struggling baitfish, triggering aggressive strikes even from the most lethargic fish. Outfitted with premium VMC black nickel hooks for superior sharpness and strength, each lure is meticulously hand-tuned and tank-tested to swim perfectly right out of the box, giving you the confidence that it will perform flawlessly from your very first cast.

This particular 110mm model, with its substantial 16g weight, fits perfectly within the versatile 101-150 mm size and 11-19 gr weight class. This makes it an exceptional choice for targeting a wide array of larger predatory species such as pike, zander, large trout, salmon, and bass. Its weight distribution ensures long, accurate casts, allowing you to reach distant fish-holding locations with ease.
