Rapala CountDown Slow Sinking Minnow 8g 70mm | Precision Depth Control Lure

Unlock the secret to consistently reaching fish at any depth with the legendary Rapala CountDown Slow Sinking Minnow. This 70mm, 8g lure is engineered with a revolutionary method that has been putting fish in the boat for decades. It is the ultimate solution for anglers who demand precision and repeatability in their presentation, allowing you to methodically cover the entire water column and discover where the fish are holding.

Sinking at a consistent rate of one foot per second, the CountDown allows you to easily target specific depths repeatedly. Simply cast out, and begin your countdown as the lure hits the water—"one thousand one, one thousand two, one thousand three"—until you reach your desired depth. Begin your retrieve, and you are now fishing in the exact strike zone. This simple yet incredibly effective technique removes the guesswork from depth control.

Whether the fish are suspended just below the surface, lurking at the weed tops, or holding tight on bottom structure, the CountDown can get you to them consistently and with pinpoint accuracy. This level of control transforms your fishing, turning speculation into a precise, repeatable strategy for success.

Trolled or cast, this weighted balsa lure swims with a slow-rolling Rapala action that predatory fish find irresistible. The subtle wobble and flutter on the drop perfectly mimic a wounded or struggling baitfish, triggering aggressive strikes from even the most cautious gamefish. Its versatility makes it an essential tool for targeting a wide variety of species in both freshwater and saltwater environments.

Ready for action straight from the package, the Rapala CountDown is outfitted with premium VMC black nickel hooks for superior sharpness and strength, ensuring a solid hookset when a fish commits. To guarantee perfection, each lure is meticulously hand-tuned and tank-tested to swim perfectly right out of the box. This unwavering commitment to quality means you can fish with confidence, knowing your lure is performing at its absolute peak on every single cast.

* Balsa Construction: Delivers the renowned lively Rapala action.
