Navigate with unwavering confidence and precision with the Ritchie Navigation HF-743 Helmsman Compass, a premier instrument engineered for sailboats and powerboats ranging from 25 to 35 feet. Designed for the discerning mariner who demands accuracy, reliability, and superior visibility, the HF-743 is a testament to Ritchie´s legacy of quality in marine navigation. Its sleek, flush-mount design integrates seamlessly into your helm, providing a clean, professional look while ensuring critical course information is always in your line of sight.

The standout feature of the HF-743 is its large 3 3/4-inch CombiDial. This innovative dial combines the benefits of a flat card and a direct-read dial, offering exceptional readability from multiple angles, whether you are steering from a seated or standing position. Prominent 45-degree lubber lines make it easy to steer accurate reciprocal courses with minimal effort and maximum precision. For safe passage after sunset, the compass is equipped with standard 12V green LED night illumination, casting a clear, non-glaring light on the dial that preserves your night vision.

At the heart of all Ritchie compasses lies an unmatched dedication to performance. The HF-743 features a hardened steel pivot and a sapphire jewel movement, a combination that ensures minimal friction and rapid response to course changes. This sophisticated internal mechanism, paired with powerful DirectiveForce magnets, provides an exceptionally quick lock-on, preventing card oscillation and delivering steadfast stability even in challenging sea conditions. To guarantee the highest degree of accuracy, built-in compensators are included, allowing for straightforward adjustment to correct for electronic and magnetic deviation specific to your vessel. Built to endure the harsh marine environment, its high-temperature composite construction ensures years of dependable service.
