Riviera RI.NA Certificated BU2 2° Compass

Navigate with unparalleled confidence and professional-grade precision with the RIVIERA RI.NA Certificated BU2 2° Compass. As a cornerstone of our Navigation equipment for Boats and equipment, this compass is engineered for mariners who demand uncompromising accuracy, reliability, and safety at sea. The prestigious RI.NA. (Registro Italiano Navale) certification is your guarantee that this instrument meets the highest standards of maritime performance and construction, making it suitable for both professional vessels and discerning recreational boaters.

The Urania BU2 series is designed to be a steadfast navigational partner. Its primary benefit lies in its exceptional stability and readability in all conditions. The internal cardan suspension system is masterfully engineered to keep the compass card perfectly level and steady, providing a dependable heading even when your vessel is pitching and rolling in heavy seas. This ensures you can trust your course, reducing navigational errors and enhancing safety during challenging passages. Coupled with a built-in compensation system, you can easily and accurately correct for magnetic deviation caused by your boat´s own metallic structures and electronics, resulting in a truly precise reading you can rely on for critical course plotting.

Visibility is paramount in navigation, and the RIVIERA BU2 excels in this area. It features a crystal-clear, anti-reflective screen that minimises glare from bright sunlight, allowing for effortless reading from any angle. When daylight fades, the standard 12V lighting system illuminates the card with a clear, non-distracting glow, ensuring perfect night-time legibility. Whether you´re sailing under the midday sun or navigating a dark channel at 3 a.m., your heading will always be clear.
