Samlex Battery charger 7A 12V

Samlex 7A 12V Advanced 3-Stage Automatic Battery Charger

Ensure the longevity and peak performance of your 12-volt batteries with the Samlex 7A 12V Battery Charger, a state-of-the-art solution designed for reliability and efficiency. This intelligent charger is engineered to provide a precise, fully automatic, and safe charging process, making it an essential tool for automotive, marine, RV, and industrial applications. As a standout in the Electronics and Chargers category, it delivers consistent power and advanced battery care.

Experience Unmatched Charging Performance and Key Benefits

The core of this charger´s capability lies in its sophisticated 3-stage charging algorithm. This process is crucial for extending the life of your deep-cycle batteries.

1. Bulk Stage: Rapidly brings the battery to approximately 80% of its capacity by delivering the full 7 Amps of current.
2. Absorption Stage: The voltage is held constant while the current gradually decreases, "topping off" the battery to its full charge without causing damage.
3. Float Stage: Once fully charged, the charger switches to a lower float voltage. This maintenance mode compensates for self-discharge, allowing you to keep the charger connected indefinitely without the risk of overcharging, ensuring your battery is always ready for use.

This intelligent approach not only provides a complete charge every time but also helps to recondition and maintain the health of your battery plates, maximizing their lifespan and saving you money on premature replacements. Its switch-mode technology ensures high efficiency, converting AC power to clean DC power with minimal energy loss and heat generation.

Advanced Features for Versatility and Safety

This Samlex unit is one of the most versatile battery chargers on the market, featuring a user-selectable setting to accommodate different battery chemistries. With a simple switch, you can optimize the charging profile for Gel-Cell, Absorbed Glass Mat (AGM), conventional Lead-Acid, or Calcium batteries, guaranteeing a perfect charge tailored to your specific battery type.

Safety is paramount in its design. The unit is equipped with a comprehensive suite of protections to safeguard both the user and the connected battery system. These built-in protections defend against short circuits, reverse polarity (preventing damage if clamps are connected incorrectly), over-voltage, and over-temperature situations. The fanless design ensures completely silent operation, making it ideal for use in quiet environments like inside an RV or on a boat, while also eliminating a common point of mechanical failure.
