* A contoured 3mm front sealing gasket fills gaps in the bezel, allowing for superior sealing against moisture intrusion.
* Illumination is on a separate circuit from gauge power, reducing the chance for signal interference or voltage drop to other instruments.
* Built with oversized windings and resistors for exceptional durability and a longer operational lifespan.
* Equipped with a scratch-resistant, convex glass lens that minimizes glare and resists fogging.
* Perimeter-lighted dial provides even and clear visibility during nighttime operation.

Sensors & Technology

This speedometer operates using a reliable and time-tested pitot tube system. The included pitot tube sensor is mounted on the transom or lower unit and measures water pressure as the boat moves. This pressure is transmitted through flexible tubing to the speedometer head unit, which then mechanically translates the pressure reading into an accurate speed measurement on the dial. This system is known for its simplicity and dependable performance across a wide range of boat types.
