Sierra Con5 On-Off Illum Switch

SIERRA Con5 On-Off Illuminated Switch: Unmatched Durability for Marine and Harsh Environments

Engineered for uncompromising performance in the most demanding conditions, the SIERRA Con5 On-Off Illuminated Switch is the definitive choice for controlling your essential 12V electrical accessories. Whether you are outfitting a boat, upgrading an RV, or building a rugged off-road vehicle, this switch provides the reliability, safety, and durability that the Sierra brand is known for. It is designed not just to function, but to excel where other switches fail, offering peace of mind when you´re miles from shore or deep in the backcountry.

Key Benefits:

* Ultimate Environmental Protection: Don´t let water or dust compromise your electrical systems. This switch boasts an exceptional IP66 and IP68 rating, signifying it is completely protected against dust ingress, powerful water jets, and even the effects of prolonged immersion in water. This makes it ideal for installation in open cockpits, exposed dashboards, and any area susceptible to the elements.
* Uncompromised Safety in Volatile Environments: Safety is paramount, especially around fuel systems. The SIERRA Con5 meets the stringent UL 1500 and ISO 8846 ignition protection requirements. This critical certification means the switch is designed to prevent the emission of sparks, making it safe for use in marine engine compartments and other areas where flammable gasoline vapors may be present.
* Clear, Intuitive Operation: Know the status of your equipment at a single glance. The switch illuminates in a vibrant red color when in the ´´ON´´ position, providing clear, unmistakable visual feedback. This is essential for nighttime operation, allowing you to quickly identify active circuits like navigation lights, bilge pumps, or aerators without hesitation.
* Built for Longevity: Constructed from high-quality, non-corrosive plastic, the switch body is designed to withstand the harsh effects of saltwater, humidity, and UV exposure without degrading. The internal components, featuring robust brass blade terminals and silver contacts, ensure superior electrical conductivity and resist corrosion, guaranteeing a solid, reliable connection for years of service.

Main Features:

* Robust and Reliable: A heavy-duty On-Off rocker switch designed for seamless control of your 12-volt systems.
* Superior Sealing: Protects against dust and prolonged spray to IP66 and IP68 standards, ensuring internal components remain dry and clean.
