Silva Clinometer Ruler

SILVA Clinometer Ruler | Precision Angle Measurement for Navigation

Achieve unparalleled accuracy in angle measurement with the SILVA Clinometer Ruler, an essential navigation tool for any discerning mariner or vehicle operator. A cornerstone in the Boats and equipment and Navigation categories, this instrument delivers reliable, at-a-glance readings that are critical for performance, safety, and efficiency on the water and beyond.

The SILVA Clinometer is a widely trusted and popular clinometer for all types of vehicles. Specifically engineered for the marine environment, it is the go-to instrument for accurately checking the heeling angle on sailing boats to optimize sail trim and for performing a precise power-trim check on powerboats, ensuring optimal handling and fuel economy. Its ingenious dual-scale design provides exceptional versatility. For highly accurate adjustments and angles up to ± 5°, the top precise scale offers fine-tuning capability. For more significant inclinations, such as measuring a boat´s heel in stronger winds, the lower scale provides clear readings for angles up to ±35°.

Beyond the helm, its utility is limitless. The SILVA Clinometer is a perfect working instrument for a multitude of other applications where angle precision is key. Use it to ensure that different vehicles, such as caravans and RVs, sit perfectly level on uneven ground, or to verify that industrial and construction equipment maintains a desired operational angle. As a specialized item in the Rulers and measurement tools category, it offers a level of angular precision that standard tools cannot match.

Key Benefits and Features:

The design prioritizes clarity and immediate comprehension. The large, intuitive markings allow for safe and swift readings, enabling you to make critical adjustments without hesitation. This "easy to read" functionality is paramount in challenging conditions where quick decisions can make all the difference in setting the right course or ensuring safe operation.

Built to withstand the rigors of any environment, from calm harbors to rough open seas, the SILVA Clinometer is exceptionally durable. Its "steady mounting" system ensures it remains firmly affixed to your chosen surface, providing consistent and trustworthy readings even when faced with heavy vibrations or turbulent conditions. You can count on it to stay in place and deliver the data you need, when you need it.
