Works perfectly on my 7.5m yacht with tiller steering. I already had an extensive NMEA2000 network with Garmin components and since SIMNet is compatible with it I chose this tiller pilot. With a small distributor and an adapter plug you can easily integrate it, it works wonderfully. It's more than powerful enough for my boat. Correct assembly is important, of course, so that nothing gets stuck or anything... I bought an extension sleeve for this, with which the tiller pilot is at the right height for me and sits very stably. Now I can finally get on the forecastle while sailing, for example to set the spinnaker!

Mine came with the wiring loom, tiller mounting pin and a brass ferrule to fix to the cockpit.

First of all, it is a rod pilot, not a wheel pilot. It suits me perfectly. It comes complete, the pilot, the wiring connections and plugs and a small coupling that you need to put it on the rod so that it can do its job on it. You will need to make a small hole in one of the bathtub seats for sure, but nothing beyond 15 minutes of installation. The installation manual is very clear and leaves no room for you to do it wrong. Greetings.
