Sleipner Side-Power SM-130945 Q-prop™ Propeller | Enhanced Thrust & Quiet Operation

Category: Boats and equipment
Subcategory: Accessories and parts

Elevate your vessel´s handling and onboard comfort with the genuine Sleipner Side-Power SM-130945 Q-prop™ propeller. Expertly engineered as a direct upgrade for specific Side-Power thrusters, this propeller represents the pinnacle of performance and noise reduction technology. Designed for discerning boat owners who demand precision, reliability, and a peaceful environment, the SM-130945 transforms your docking and maneuvering experience. Move away from the disruptive noise of conventional propellers and embrace the confidence that comes with superior control.

The revolutionary design of the SM-130945 is centered around its advanced 5-blade, skewed profile. This Q-prop™ (Quiet Propeller) technology is the result of extensive hydrodynamic research and development by Sleipner. The primary benefit is a dramatic reduction in operational noise. By minimizing cavitation—the formation of noisy air bubbles—this propeller can reduce sound levels by up to 50% compared to older 4-blade models. This creates a significantly more pleasant experience for everyone on board, eliminating the high-pitched whirring often associated with thruster use.

Beyond its quiet operation, the SM-130945 delivers a tangible increase in performance. The unique blade geometry is optimized to generate approximately 5% more thrust than its predecessors from the same power input. This gain in efficiency translates directly to more responsive and authoritative control when you need it most. Whether you are navigating a tight marina, battling a crosswind, or holding position with precision, the enhanced thrust provides the confidence and power required for safe and effortless handling.

This propeller is engineered to be a seamless replacement and performance upgrade, making it an ideal choice for retrofitting existing compatible thruster systems. The transition is straightforward, allowing you to quickly benefit from the latest in Sleipner´s thruster technology without complex modifications. Its robust construction ensures exceptional durability and longevity, capable of withstanding the harsh demands of the marine environment for season after season of reliable performance.
