SPRO SP1 Spinning Reel: Precision Engineering for Ultimate Performance

Experience the pinnacle of spinning reel technology with the SPRO SP1. Designed for the serious angler who demands precision, power, and flawless performance on every cast, the SP1 is a masterclass in modern reel engineering, built to excel in a wide range of fishing applications. Whether you are finesse fishing for perch and zander or targeting aggressive predators, this reel provides the confidence and control you need to succeed.

At the heart of this exceptional reel, the SP1 features our best S//DRIVE gear system. It is assembled using premium stainless steel bearings which complement the high-end components. This advanced gearing, combined with the proven S-Curve oscillation mechanism, ensures an incredibly smooth and silent retrieve while providing perfect line lay. The result is superior line management, longer and more accurate casts, and a direct connection to your lure, allowing you to feel every subtle movement and tentative bite.

Durability is paramount, and the SP1 delivers an unyielding foundation. The body of SP1 is made up of a solid aluminium frame with carbon covers, giving it strength while keeping the weight low. This intelligent hybrid construction provides the rigidity of a full metal body to keep the internal gears perfectly aligned under heavy load, while the carbon elements significantly reduce overall weight for comfortable, fatigue-free fishing from dawn until dusk. Reinforcing this commitment to resilience, the outer components are made from solid aluminium from the handle screw to the oversized drag knob, ensuring every touchpoint is robust, corrosion-resistant, and built to withstand the rigors of intense angling.

The reel’s operation is flawlessly smooth, thanks to a high-count 7+1 stainless steel ball bearing system. These premium bearings ensure a silky, fluid performance on every turn of the handle and provide excellent corrosion resistance for long-term reliability. The powerful and finely adjustable drag system is controlled by an ergonomic, oversized drag knob, allowing for quick, on-the-fly adjustments with wet or cold hands, giving you the power to tame hard-fighting fish with absolute confidence. The SPRO SP1 is more than just a tool; it is a high-performance instrument crafted for the discerning angler.
