Main Features
* Advanced Adjustable Disc-Drag System: The standout feature of the Elite Compact is its sophisticated disc-drag. This mechanism allows for micro-fine adjustments, giving you the ability to achieve the perfect thread tension for any application. From delicate dry flies using 18/0 thread to robust saltwater streamers requiring heavy, flat-waxed nylon, the drag system provides a consistently smooth release without jerking or over-spooling.
* Universal Spool Compatibility: Versatility is key at the tying bench. This bobbin holder is ingeniously designed to be suitable for every size spool. Its adaptable arms securely hold everything from small midge spools to larger, high-capacity spools, making it the one and only bobbin you need for all your projects.
* Flawless Thread Protection: The bobbin tube is crafted from hardened steel and features a perfectly rounded, bushed tip. This critical detail ensures your thread glides effortlessly without any risk of fraying, abrasion, or cutting, preserving the integrity of even the most delicate and expensive tying threads.
