Cord running from the light

Hello, I’ve been interested in purchasing a bicycle headlight to mount to the front of my bike. I’ve been looking around at Busch&Muller products and like their appearance but I’m not sure what the cord is for. I ride a single speed Fuji feather that I purchased for its minimal accessories. While shopping for a front light I want something that has a retro appearance but doesn’t have a cord running from or look oversized for my bike. Many lights, from what I can tell, look better suited for beach cruisers. Can you give me your option on if your product would suit my needs or can you point me in the right direction? Thanks! Sean

This light does not have a battery, it requires a dynamo hub for power. If you don´t have a dynamo hub you may want to consider something like the Lezyne Classic Drive 700 XL or the Knog Plugger.

This light is dynamo powered. The chord runs to a front dynamo hub to generate electricity for the light.
