Castelli teamed up with Polartec® for this special four-way-stretch fabric with the waterproof windproof NeoShell® microporous membrane.

That ´´microporous´´ word simply means that it breathes really well to keep you dry.

But the magic of this fabric is the elasticity, so it really feels like the jacket was tailored for you.

This lets us give it a close-to-body fit that doesn´t feel like an exaggerated race fit.

On its own the shell fabric isn´t quite warm enough for winter use, so we´ve fully lined it with a polyester microfiber fabric that not only gives it just the right amount of insulation, it also moves moisture away from your body to keep you dry.

And yes, the liner is four-way stretch too.

This jacket is rich in details belied by the clean look.

The no-sew zipper flap blocks drafts, the internal cuffs create a perfect interface with your gloves, and the internal gaiter is an adaptation of a snow skirt on a ski jacket, but in this case we can give the jacket a straight-cut waist while allowing you to seal out drafts by closing the internal gaiter.

Or leave it open for a little extra ventilation.

We´ve placed two larger pockets in the space normally used for three smaller pockets, since in the winter you don´t need to stash a vest or arm warmers, and the larger opening is much easier to access with gloved hands.
