I've been riding these tires for about ten years and I'm very happy with them. Personally, I change them after about 4,000 km. I once went as high as 5,000 km and it seemed riskier to me. I haven't had a puncture in years and, what's more, I ride on roads whose condition sometimes leaves something to be desired. This is the first time I've bought 28 mm tires and they were delivered to me after a reasonable amount of time.

I tried this tire on my rear wheel as last year I wore out the original tire (about 1,300 miles) that ended up with herniations even though there was quite a bit of rubber on the tire. I ended up with over 3,500 miles so far on this tire. There are some slits in the tire as the tire is quite worn. Knowing I got almost 3 times the wear and paid maybe 30% more than the original tire makes it a great financial decision. I bought it from all of the reviews on its performance and I have not been disappointed. There is plenty of grip on corners and it does seem to decrease the rolling resistance. I love the tire and when I discovered the bikeinn' store, it becomes a decision without regret. I can't say enough about the tire, it's price and bikeinn's service. Thank you.

Avid hobby cyclist, but not overly serious - e.g. about 75 miles/week. Continental GP5000 was recommended by a friend, and I've used for every tire needing replacement on my (too many) bikes. I definitely notice the difference in rolling resistance, even in comparison to other Continental tires. I've not had excess or surprising flat issues - any I've had have been major pothole or curb strikes.

I've used GP5000's (and before them, the 4000's) for years, and get a puncture maybe every three years on pretty rough roads. I found them easy to install on my old aluminum rims, but a bit harder on some new, deeper section tubeless ready carbon wheels. Running at about 70psi on tar and chip roads, they roll smoothly and have plenty of grip. For the price they are still excellent value, and I probably wouldn't switch to another tire anytime soon.

If you absolutely want Continental, you need: Continental Race 28 S Wide 700x25 to 32 road bike inner tube. for the valve length depending on your rim height 42mm, 60mm or 80mm. It is a very good and durable high-end tire, for use with a tube. In case you want a tubeless tire, you should check that the tread description says TR (tubless ready). They are a little more expensive, but it is worth it. Greetings and good purchase!
