This is my second set of GP5k tires. I usually like to try different make and models but I just love these too much. Amazing grip I'm dry and wet. I've locked my rear on a emergency situation and it's so controllable. I got ~15k kms out of the rear tire with zero punctures. I've rotated the front to the rear and I'm sure I can get another 5-7k km out of them. I'm happy with this lifespan given its grip, comfort and puncture resistance

Tubeless or Tubes

The previous questions on if a tube is required with this tyre have ambiguous responses. Can someone please clarify if this tyre can be used in a tubeless set up ie. without tubes and with tubeless sealant?

There is a different version of the tyre for tubeless wheels, check the versions available . If it doesn't say in the description it's specifically for tubeless, then it is a clincher version for wheels where you use an inner tube. I use them with a camera, it is the Grand Prix 5000 model with Black Chili Compound, Vectran Breaker, Lazer Grip, Active Comfort Technology. It is NOT the TR model.

I am currently using a continental 5000 700c 28mm tire on my Colnago CX Zero road bike with disc brakes. Will this 30mm tire ( black chili foldable Continental 5000) fit on my frame?

Hi, depends on clearance you currently have - esp the rear triangle normally. The tyre is nominally 2mm wider than your existing one. This ought to equate to 1mm closer to the frame on either side however it may not work exactly a mm wider both sides - depends on the tyre. Also you probably do not want the tyre to be so close to the frame that is could touch under stress - eg cornering. Important to allow a little extra room!
