Good trainer at a good price with a small offer, very interesting if you are looking for a trainer with bluetooth or ant connectivity. The only drawback that I put is the control to raise and lower the resistance levels, I see it as a bit flimsy. We'll see if it doesn't cause problems. It's a little louder than I expected from feedback.

This trainer is compatible with Zwift, as well as other platforms, as it sends data (power and cadence) via universal protocols (ANT +, Bluetooth 4.0) that Zwift recognizes. However, it is not interactive. In other words, it does not automatically increase/decrease resistance when we reach climbs/descents in Zwift.

Or does it charge itself by using the trainer (like a bike dynamo or something)? If you have to buy a battery for this trainer, where do you have to put it in and what kind of battery is needed then?

This Smart trainer roller is not an interactive roller. If you want to use Rouvy or Zwift, you should choose a more evolved one. It only has a mobile app to read roll data.
