HDK-0010: 1-1/8´´ x 1-1/2´´ Stainless Steel Zero-Stack Headset Bearing Kit for 44mm/56mm ID MAXhit steerer frames is Enduro´s latest innovation where the bearing is actually the component. MAXhit headset bearings are designed to press directly into your bike´s steerer tube, eliminating the need for the aluminum cups traditionally used to carry bearings. This unique design frees up space for much larger balls that more than double the load capacity compared to standard headset bearings. Kit includes fork crown and upper split ring and upper bearing cap. Machined entirely from 440C stainless steel and guaranteed for life, Maxhit steering bearings include patented double lip labyrinth seals and Enduro extra high pressure grease to ensure a lifetime of trouble-free, heavy-duty performance. The Enduro line of headset bearings starts with chrome steel, type A/C black oxide finish and then offers full 440C stainless steel on top. They are always designed with the largest possible balls and micro-groove mounted double lip seals for maximum protection from sweat and the elements. They are 90% filled with high-pressure waterproof grease, so you never have to guess if there is grease inside. Enduro angular contact (A/C) bearings, all balls are coupled to distribute force over a larger surface area, pressure water and minimize wear.
