I bought these pedals to put on my road bike so that I could use them with mountain bike type shoes and thus be able to walk with them. I am very happy with my purchase, the pedals are light and very fluid to clip and unclip. On the road it is not annoying that there is only one side (it would bother me more on a mountain bike on the other hand) and it saves weight.
