FSA TH-970E ACB 45º Duals MR168 Steering Bearing | 1-1/4"

Restore your bicycle´s steering to factory-fresh precision with the FSA TH-970E ACB 45º MR168 Headset Bearing. As a crucial component in your bike´s steering system, this genuine FSA spare part is engineered to deliver exceptionally smooth, reliable, and responsive handling, whether you´re navigating technical mountain trails or carving corners on the open road. If you´re experiencing notchy, loose, or rough steering, this high-quality replacement bearing is the definitive solution to bring back the fluid control you demand.

Designed as a direct replacement for 1-1/4" headset systems, the TH-970E is built to FS´s exacting standards. Its core strength lies in the Angular Contact Bearing (ACB) design, a superior technology that is purpose-built to handle the combined radial and axial loads inherent in a bicycle headset. This ensures that forces from riding are distributed evenly across the ball bearings, significantly reducing friction, preventing premature wear, and providing a noticeably smoother rotation compared to standard radial bearings.

Key Benefits:

* Superior Durability: Constructed from high-quality, robust steel, this bearing is designed to withstand the rigors of both road cycling and aggressive mountain biking. It offers excellent resistance to deformation and wear, ensuring a long service life and consistent performance.
* Perfect Compatibility: As a genuine FSA component, the TH-970E MR168 guarantees a perfect fit for compatible 1-1/4" headsets, eliminating guesswork and ensuring a seamless installation. It´s the ideal choice for maintaining the integrity and performance of your FSA headset.
* Versatile Application: Expertly crafted to meet the demands of multiple disciplines, this bearing is equally at home on a high-performance road bike or a rugged full-suspension mountain bike, making it a versatile and essential spare part for serious cyclists.

Main Features:

* Advanced Angular Contact Bearing (ACB) design for optimal load distribution.
* Precision-machined 45°x45° internal and external contact angles for smooth operation.
* Specifically dimensioned for 1-1/4" bicycle headset applications.
* Engineered as a high-quality replacement part to restore original performance.

ANDRE LUIZ

Hello! Will this bearing fit in the steering gear of a Specialized Chisel 2021 onwards?

Answer of Pedro

This bearing does not fit in a Specialized Chisel as it is 1 1/4", you need a 1 1/2" (bottom) and a 1 1/8" (top) bearing. You can find them here at Bike Inn as well... good luck!
