GRANITE DESIGN Stash RT Hidden Direction Multitool

Never get caught unprepared on the trail again. The GRANITE DESIGN Stash RT Hidden Direction Multitool is the ultimate solution for riders who value minimalist setups, immediate access to tools, and the peace of mind that comes with being ready for anything. This innovative system masterfully conceals a complete repair kit within the empty space of your bike´s steerer tube, ensuring your essential tools are always with you, hidden in plain sight and completely rattle-free. Forget bulky saddlebags or the hassle of remembering your tool pouch; the Stash RT integrates seamlessly into your bike, ready to be deployed in seconds.

At the heart of this system is an easily accessible 9-bit ratcheting wrench kit stored inside the headset, so you’re always ready to tackle routine or emergency repairs and adjustments. The two-way ratchet design is a game-changer, allowing for lightning-fast adjustments, especially in tight, hard-to-reach places on your bike where a standard multitool would be clumsy and slow. Whether you´re fine-tuning your derailleur, tightening a loose bolt, or performing a critical trailside fix, the intuitive ratcheting action saves you time and frustration. Despite its robust functionality, the entire system is incredibly light, weighing only 159 g, ensuring it won´t impact your bike´s handling or performance.

The Stash RT comes equipped with 9 essential tool bits to cover a vast range of repairs, including 2mm, 2.5mm, 3mm, 4mm, 5mm, 6mm, 8mm, and T25. For those moments when you need to apply more force, the PH1 bit ingeniously snaps into the shank to provide added leverage, giving you the power to break loose stubborn bolts.

Installation is brilliantly simple and requires no permanent modification to your fork. You can install the Stash RT without hitting or threading the steerer tube; simply remove your old star nut and insert the tool housing directly into the steerer tube. The new compact housing is specifically designed to fit modern forks with a tapered steerer tube, ensuring broad compatibility with market leaders like the Rockshox Lyrik and Pike series, as well as the Fox 38 and 36 series forks.

For the tech-savvy cyclist, the system´s versatility extends to your cockpit setup. An optional bike computer mounting top cover is available for Garmin, Bryton, and Wahoo devices (sold separately), allowing for a clean, integrated mounting point for your GPS unit. The GRANITE DESIGN Stash RT is more than a multitool—it´s an essential upgrade for any cyclist seeking convenience, efficiency, and a perfectly clean bike aesthetic

This tool is thoughtfully designed and very versatile. I find it perfect, of very good quality, fits the head tube perfectly, and a spring allows it to extend slightly for easy handling. Perhaps you should be a little careful with the cap screw, making sure it's not too tight, so as not to strain the cap's tab. You can attach mounts for a cycling computer and a small cover underneath to store an AirTag and locate your bike in case of theft. Simply PERFECT.

I was looking for a few tools to use on my regular bike. I currently have the SWAT system from Specialized, and many of my friends use other brands like OneUp and Bontrager. They've complained that their tools make noise, which is a drawback for them. I wanted to buy another SWAT tool, but it was hard to find. After seeing this new tool, I decided to give it a try. After testing it out in the desert on rocky terrain, I have to say the tool is amazing and very easy to install.

Great support from Granite
