Coming from the Keo 2 Max, what I miss most is the distinctive click that lets you know you're 100% locked in. With the Blade pedals, due to the carbon plates instead of a spring, the click is almost imperceptible to the ear and foot, so it's necessary to double-check that you're properly secured. Otherwise, I can say that the 8-position adjustment plate is sufficient to provide security on climbs and sprints. It's very similar to the medium adjustment on my previous Keo 2 Max pedals. In terms of feel, the biggest positive difference is that small increase in contact area, which my feet appreciated, reducing premature numbness. The pedals obviously give the bike a more professional appearance, as they are aesthetically very well-crafted pedals. I recommend them simply because they're Look pedals—you'll be sure to get them. Fast shipping to CO with slightly higher customs charges than expected, but still a favorable price compared to the local market.

The best Look pedal on the market for most riders. Years ago I bought the original Blade which utilized narrow carbon strips instead of the new wide carbon type. The newer current version is simply fantastic and tension lasts along time! The wider contact surface eliminates hot spots on the sole of your foot when doing much climbing. Thank you Look!

The best pedals for the road, I have been using the same model for quite some time now and they work great for me. This new generation has a larger support surface and in general they work very well. What I don't like is that it doesn't have a different thickness of the blade in case you want it to be harder to tighten.
