This saddle clamp with an adapter for a rear rack is a very good choice if you have issues attaching a rear rack to your MTB or fat bike. I have two M-Wave Racky saddle clamps, one to a hardtail MTB and one to a fat bike, and they work perfectly. Measure on your bike frame before ordering so you get the correct saddle clamp. In case you wonder about the rear racks : both are Topeak Uni Super Tourist; one is for my MTB, and a wider to my fat bike. BikeInn has the MTB / hardtail version, I am not sure about the fat bike version.

Hello, Having a 28.8 mm diameter seat tube (external dimension) and a 28.6 mm seat post, what size should I choose please for the M-Wave Racky seat clamp part? I assume 28.6 mm as well but would like to be certain before ordering... Thank you for your reply. Kind regards

Yes, logically you choose the closest diameter, knowing that there is a tightening margin, therefore a tolerance.

Would the size 31.8 mm fit my seat post, which indicates that its diameter is 30.8 mm? that is, one mm less.

Hello, I did not have this problem because the diameter listed on the saddle base was 34.9 mm, included in the options. That said, I think that 1 mm of tolerance is doable: I just did the test with the collar that I removed. And if I look at mine, I see that there is still some tightening margin. Here´s what I can tell you ;-)

The clamp has two diameters inside, the largest one is to fit into your bicycle body and the other smaller diameter is the one that will tighten the seatpost.
