The control helps to lower the intensity when people are coming from in front, without letting go of the handlebars, and to safely adjust on the fly. Its programming capacity with the phone app helps find a compromise between brightness and consumption. Its indicator screen helps to economize use on the go so as not to be left without light. The possibility of having an interchangeable battery replacement makes it even more interesting on long outings. Very interesting to place on handlebars with an angle of -17º, because it is completely centered, using the GPS support. To give it a but, the remote control has a way of placing it on the handlebar that does not do justice to the rest of the qualities of the light. It is a pending subject. I have used an alternative fastening method that works infinitely better for me, but each person will have to find the most appropriate way depending on the handlebar elements installed.

Can one mount it upside down using a GoPro type mount under an existing Garmin out front mount holding a bike computer?

Hi, I tried mounting the light on the Garmin rotating mount, and it went in and rotated perfectly. In other words, it fits. The important thing is that the mount doesn´t have any obstacles in its rotation, because if you look closely, the light has a slight protrusion at the bottom of the front.

Hello. I have one of these lights but found it very difficult to remove the battery. When I pressed the release button, I could not remove the battery. I ended up having ,,using a screwdriver along with pressing the button to remove it. As a result the button broke so now I cannot remove the battery. Has anyone else had this problem?, maybe I was just unlucky. It's still a great light and am considering getting another, the main reason being that I do long cycles and would like to have a spare battery as a backup. I see there is one available on this website but it's for the 2500 lumen model so don't if it's compatible. Any help/advice appreciated. Thanks

As EJW says, the rubber O-ring that seals the battery makes it difficult to remove at first, but it becomes easier over time. When I bought the flashlight, the battery wasn´t yet sold separately. You need an MJ-6550 5000mAh 3.6v Allty 1500S; the 2000/2500S is not compatible!

With my 1500 lumen version, removing it goes well, but a bit stiff. This is due to the o-ring that seals the compartment watertight. Despite that, I can remove the battery with one hand. Press the button and slide it forward. I have no experience with the compatibility between the 1500 and 2500 lumen models

Yes, mounts on Garmin mounts. Comes with a Garmin mount with a plastic collar and screw tightening. However, I recommend a rigid and adjustable Garmin mount such as a Garmin MTB mount.

Yes the light is very powerful (5000 mA battery). In "medium" mode, it should last at least 3 hours. In flash mode, 10 a.m.

Not on its own but from the app you can set the main flashing LED to the minimum power of 15 lumens which consumes little or nothing, so we are talking about at least 30 hours at least from what is declared on the display
